This Rolleston project offered a distinctive design approach, with bold shapes and carefully considered forms creating real character throughout the landscape. The unique lines of the decking, boundary screens, and raised vegetable planters bring individuality to the space, giving it a strong architectural presence. From the street, the front entrance garden offers just a glimpse of what lies beyond, building intrigue as the layered planting and carefully curated details reveal themselves on the approach to the rear garden.
A bespoke plastered block feature wall pairs beautifully with the warmth of natural kwila slat screening, combining texture and contrast in a way that feels both modern and inviting. A statement planter anchors the space, while deep black bark creates striking definition against bright white stone pathways, drawing attention to the clean lines and thoughtful material palette. As the garden settles in and the Gaura matures into full bloom, this outdoor space will only become richer in softness, movement, and seasonal beauty.
